Swift Creek Arts and Crafts GalleryOur gallery is located in the "doll house" across from the Court House on 25 North Washington Street in downtown Campton, KY. We offer a venue for local and regional artists and crafts people to show, demonstrate, and sell their work. We are open in the Spring, Fall, and Summer on Saturdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm and on Thursday summer evenings during Music In the Park from 6:30pm - 9:00. We close during the winter. Watch for the grand re-opening each spring.
The Swift Creek Arts and Crafts Gallery has twenty-five artists and crafters displaying and selling their work.
Plans are progressing for the "Hands-On Appalachia" events. We will offer classes in a traditional Appalachian experience: Learn to play the Dulcimer, basket making, soap making, candle making, etc.
Anyone in the region who is interested in selling their work at the Swift Creek Arts and Crafts Gallery can contact Janine Musser at (606)725-4860 or e-mail at gallery@AppalachianHeritageAlliance.org
Artist membership fees are $15 per year. We add a very modest 15% commission to your asking price. For your items over $100, we add only 10%. And that, friends, is a good deal. As you know, most places double your asking price. The reason we can do this is because the owners of the building, Reva Terrill and Richard Jett, are not charging rent. Thank you, Reva and Richard.
